What is Interlibrary Loan? An interlibrary loan (ILL) is a
transaction in which library material, or a copy of the material,
is made available by one library to another upon request. The loan
period will depend on the lending library.
Who is eligible for this service? Students, faculty and staff
at Pensacola Junior College are eligible for ILL service and may request
a loan or copy of material from another library. You must have an
activated PJC Picture ID card.
When and how will I get my material? Allow up
to 10 working days for delivery before contacting ILL. You
will be contacted when the material arrives. All book and audio/visual
material must be picked up at the campus library of your choice. Some
article copies may be emailed to you, but others may require pick
up from the library.
Who do I contact if I need help/information? Direct questions
to (850)484-2089.
Please check LINCC, the Pensacola Junior College catalog, to verify that the material you need is not available at PJC.
Copyright Notice
The Copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order, if in its judgement, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
