Searching PJC and other Florida Community College Catalogs

To locate books at PJC and other Florida community college libraries, click on Find Books at the top of the Library homepage. Search by Keyword or Subject for:

sustainable living	renewable energy
green movement	green technology
urban ecology	recycling

Advanced Search provides a guided method for combining keywords. If PJC does not have what you need, click on the dropdown arrow that follows At Pensacola Junior College and select All Community Colleges. Books can be requested from other campus libraries. Journal, Magazine & Newspaper Articles

To access the following resources, click on the Find Articles link at the top of the Library home page. Login is automatic from the Library computers. To log in from remote computers: 1) select Pensacola Junior college from the drop down menu; 2) type the 14-digit PJC photo ID number in the Borrower ID box; 3) type the last four digits of your Social Security number into the PIN box. Before logging in, be sure to activate the barcode number on your ID card by contacting the Library at 484-2002 or by stopping by the Circulation Desk in the Library. Once logged in, click on the Alphabetical link at the top of the page. From the alphabetical list, click on the database of your choice.

America’s Newspapers (NewsBank)

Accesses full-text articles from over 700 U.S. newspapers. Articles from Florida newspapers, including the Pensacola News Journal from 1999 to the present, can be searched separately or as part of the entire database.
